"This year I learned the following terms and I applied them as I read some pretty great stuff:

allusion -something that’s there but isn’t there like something messing with your head.
plot-the main part of the story what The whole story is .
theme- setting of the story ? What the story is about .
diction - it’s like a dictionary ? Something with a lot of words . 
syntax -to feel 
in/direct characterization
static/dynamic characters— someone who is more involved in the story then and the other dosnt really matter in the beginning 
symbolism— a symbole that represents the story. 
synecdoche
metaphor-  
simile— something that is similar ?
